Booking Process

You can “block” the room by paying the deposit. Before we send your contract we need uploaded (in your Medici-Living account) copies of your passport and employment contract (first and last page) or proof of student enrollment. After we have received the deposit and documents, we will email you your electronic contract. The rent and app fee should reach us by the start of your contract so that we can handover your keys punctually.


How to Book a Room at Medici Living:

  1. Review the move-in date. You can adjust it up to a maximum of 6 days after the date of vacancy. Just click on the orange button 'BOOK ROOM' 

  2. Create a profile and verify by email. Enter your personal information and click “next”

  3. Choose a payment method for the deposit, which will be repaid to you after you move out: Credit Card (VISA, Master Card), PayPal, Bank Transfer (Online banking) and Direct Debit (SEPA) and click “next”.

  4. Recheck your personal data. If you are logged in with your Facebook account, please use your full name, as it appears in your identity card. Click “SUBMIT A BINDING BOOKING”

  5. Complete the payment transaction. Please note that payment by direct debit can take 3 to 5 days.

  6. Before sending your electronic contract via email, we need screenshots of your identity card or passport and proof of occupation, employment contract (first and last page), proof of student enrollment, etc. Upload it to your profile:

  7. The first rent and Application Fee (149 €) can be paid after you finished the booking process or up to one week before your move in date. Simply log into


Steps before and shortly after moving in:

  1. You'll receive the details for the hand-over of the keys once we received all your payments. From the first weekday your lease agreement with us starts, you can pick up the keys between 4pm - 6pm. The office is closed on the weekend and on bank holidays. If we don’t have an office in your city we’ll arrange a meeting. 

  2. The landlord confirmation is sent to you by email shortly after you collect your keys. You can find it anytime on your account by login in at : It is not possible to provide the landlord confirmation before you pick up your keys.

  3. Upon moving in, all our tenants receive a checklist so that they're able to check their accommodation properly and record irregularities, if any. Should there be an issue, we'd like to ask you to inform us within 48 hours after your moving in.
